Spanish
Señora Rose has been teaching Español for longer than she can remember! Using trusted curriculum, she aims to make learning her native language fun through song, art, and activities to make the lessons “stick”.

Science
Mrs. Fanning retired after teaching Science for over 42 years and seeks to share her love for God’s incredible design for life with us at The Well. If she had a fault, which she doesn’t, it would be teaching beyond her time limit, trying to pack as much science fun as she can into every class session!
Science is available for grades K-12.
Tutoring - Reading
After years of struggling to find strategies to teach her own children to read, Samantha delved into the field of Reading Literacy and obtained her Master's Degree in Teaching: Special Education from Liberty University. Ready to put her knowledge to work, she is excited to tutor kids at The Well needing attention in a smaller group setting or 1 on 1.
Samantha is available for small group or 1 on 1 tutoring.

Physical Education
Alyssa is our General and Adapted Physical Education teacher. She has her Bachelor’s degree in Health and Physical Education and her Masters in Kinesiology for Individuals with Disabilities from the University of Virginia. Alyssa loves teaching PE because she enjoys seeing students’ excitement and pride when they gain a new skill. She believes athletics is one of the best ways to teach character and perseverance at any level. Teaching kids with special needs has always been a passion of hers because she believes everyone deserves the chance to experience sports and all they offer!
PE is available as an elective for grades 3-12.
Writing - Coming this Spring
Isabel is pursuing a degree in Journalism and loves the art of writing. “During my sophomore year of high school, I joined Camden County High School’s online newspaper – The Beacon. Through this experience, my love for journalism and copy editing was unlocked. I then became the Copy Editor of the school’s 332 page yearbook my junior year. During my junior year, I was also the Editor of the school’s Literary Magazine; the magazine consisted of visual arts, photography, and multiple genres of writing. I plan to be the Yearbook Copy Editor and Literary Magazine Editor during my senior year. Writing is an extremely important skill, and I look forward to helping students grow their confidence in their writing abilities.”
Storytime and Crafts
We are praying for God to send the right person to lead our youngest students in an insightful and engaging storytime and craft each week that will teach them about the world around them and God’s hand in all of it. Contact us if this is where you want to serve!
More Than Classes…
Field Trips and Service
We go on many field trips throughout the year, and even during the summer! We also serve together one week of the year where we don't have classes but come together for Missions Focus, meeting needs locally (and sometimes abroad!).
Mentorship and Community
Weekly, the moms in our group meet for food, fun, fellowship, devotionals and even to hear from guest speakers on topics related to faith, homeschool, and parenting. We also have an annual planning retreat where you can get your plans and curriculum organized for the upcoming year. Our Moms Community is one of the most valuable parts of The Well. Mentor Moms disciple and pour into our moms, strengthening and encouraging them as they labor. We prioritize discipleship for homeschooling families, working together to create a program that leaves a legacy of Christ-followership for the next generation of learners and beyond!
